Introduction: it falls to AAAA level. As it lies in Huilong Village, Upper Bali Town, it also gets its name as Huilong Sky Boundary Mountain. It covers five scenic areas namely Peak Gallery, Master Peak (1570 meters), Chanting Dragon Gorge, cross-shape mountain (top peak in Mountain Taihang at 1763 meters) and Zhang ditch. It also has an 8-kilometer-long artificial tunnel (hanged wall road). Travelers would mainly travel to Peak Gallery and master Peak for three reasons: first, they can relish in the magnificent scene of Mountain Taihang in Peak Gallery that can’t be viewed in other places; second, Master Peak is famous in fame. It is where the world’s No. One iron peak lies in ‘Golden Peak in the South lies in Wudang, Iron Peak in the North lies in Taihang’ and is a holy land for praying. Pilgrim prayers want to burn incenses and make a wish to get fortune. Third, the two scenes are linked by ropeway and offers a lot of fun for playing.

After travelling, we would spend our night in Bali Town. Our destination today is Huilong Tourism Area.

The ticket costs 60 Yuan (30 Yuan for students and the senior with valid certificate). They have to buy round-trip ticket (40 Yuan) to head up (over 10 kilometers without mountain-climbing tracks).

8:15 Board the bus in Baligou travelers’ center

8:40 Qingfengguan parking lot (terminal)

[Note: If you want to appreciate hanged wall road or the tunnel, you can get off the bus and walk backwards from the parking lot for around 20 minutes]

8:45 Come over to the gateway of Sky Boundary Mountain after passing Qingfengguan Door. Enter the gateway after check-in

You have two options after entering the gateway. You can either travel in Peak Gallery or return to the original place after traveling around. Then you can buy ticket and take the ropeway (or remote mountain-climbing track. You can ask working staffs on that matter) and head towards Love Stone Square to climb the Master Peak or you can do it in reverse. Peak Gallery is a track around mountains without terraces. You can walk throughout the journey (around 3 hours) or choose tour-sighting battery cart (it will pull over in each scenic spot so that travelers can appreciate the scene and take photos). 30 Yuan per person

I choose to walk around the mountain track and view Mountain Taihang. Its magnificence can be seen that is mesmerizing. It has numerous scenes. Two most spectacular places are Courage Terrace and Life-and-Death Cliff. They are thrilling and adventurous.

11:30 Return to the entrance. Buy ticket to the ropeway. Land to love stone square by ropeway.
11:20 After some rest, we begin to climb up to Master Peak.

Though it is 1570 meters in elevation, it doesn’t feel that high. For love stone square is over 1000 meters in elevation.

12:40 p.m. It is not high but it is precipitous. We are gasping for air when we reach the Master Peak. It is spacious and contains several Taoist temples. People who come over to offer incense are in great numbers.

2:00 p.m. We go down the mountain through ropeway before returning to Qingfengguan parking lot. You’ve got to wait for 30 minutes for each shift of bus. Tell the driver that you are going to Chanting Dragon Gorge.

2:30 p.m.: You can get on the bus and get off at Chanting Dragon Gorge. It takes around one hour.

3:50 p.m.: go back to Chanting Dragon Gorge. Wait for the bus from Qingfengguan. You can wave at the bus and the bus would stop. You can get on the bus with ticket.

4:20 p.m., gateway to the scenic spot

It takes around 8 hours

Itisover1000meters in elevation. It is scattered with cable cars. Master Peak lies behind it.
